Preschool for Children Ages 2-5:

We offer a family-friendly, educational and nurturing faith-based environment for preschool children ages 2-5 in the St. Petersburg area. We are an extended ministry of Riviera United Methodist Church.  Riviera Day School encourages early learning and the development of social skills through play and creative activities . As professional educators, our teachers emphasize the growth of the child as a whole.

We accept children who are at least 2 years of age by September 1st. of the school year.  Each class has a full school-year curriculum.  We keep children in their same class for the school year and keep them on task for Kindergarten prep.  We are part-time and run as a school in similar conjunction with the Pinellas county calendar and not as a full-year daycare.

Have a look around our website to learn more about us.

Giving It Our All

Our degreed Teachers are true professionals and exceed education requirements mandated by the licensing board.  Each classroom has a Teacher and an Aide to ensure your child has the full attention that they need.  Students leaving Riviera Day School for Kindergarten have some of the highest test scores in the county.  Although we pride ourselves on outstanding academics, the love and care of your child is our number one priority.

Riviera Day School’s  curriculum  follows established educational principles and sets the highest standards for learning.  Daily lessons are planned to cover a wide variety of topics with emphasis on early literacy, math skills, discovery and exploration.  Spanish, music, and chapel are specialty classes incorporated into the learning environment each week.
